Aug 28, 2020 When the first aid could not unmount the volume for repair, try using the “Use the terminal application” method to unmount the disk volume. Method 3: Use the terminal application. Terminal application allows you to control your Mac operations via the command prompt. Command-line can be used to eradicate 'Can't unmount disk' from Mac. In the sidebar, select a disk or volume, then click the First Aid button. If Disk Utility tells you the disk is about to fail, back up your data and replace the disk—you can’t repair it. Otherwise, continue to the next step. Click Run, then click Continue.

The problem is it was working normally. Then I start iMac and it said 'The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer', there are 2 options, eject or ignore.
